iPad Paintings
The iPad is my sketching notebook, I find it ideal for preliminary ideas. My non digital, more conventional paintings and collages have their beginnings here. The opportunities for experimentation are endless, from watercolour to oil, from pastel to felt tip, effects all available within an app.
I have also used the iPad to complete entire works. The process is very enjoyable, I use my finger or a stylus and can create images easily in situations which would be impossible with all the paraphernalia and space needed for painting in the traditional way. Some of these can be seen here.
